Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently the stress of being a Unemployed has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
