History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears skinny pants and wears a violet and tan robe with the hood down. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears professional attire. His hair is auburn and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in a small forest village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Dustin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gillyd was born the youngest of three triplets. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and doesn't want to be a mercenary and was forced into it by her family

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
