History: Born to a Detective, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When Burto reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Burto never married again. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
