Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gurdis will drive conversation. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gurdis lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Pallabar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
