Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Bertram was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and retire the richest man in the south

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Great grew up listening to her father's many stories. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
