History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
