History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born to a Merchant, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears his silver hair down. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Body Guard profession.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
