History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
