History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Margery was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but she was a colossal failure. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and wants to work out more often

History: Born to a Layabout, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

History: Hethress was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
