History: Harriet was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Harriet was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Harriet's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Pennie is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Junk Dealer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Junk Dealer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.

History: Pyntle lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.
