His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Spear was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Spear grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Spear. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She has never given up on her music dream.
