History: Gifted from a young age, Oppleby studied abroad. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Oppleby was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. The war was a terrible time for her, and Rezena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
