History: Born in the north to a Spy, Shautha learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She tends to her Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Rurik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: Don hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
