History: Werydd was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Hlin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
