Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Balam will drive conversation. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Server, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a Gardener first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A friendly and beautiful Half-Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
