History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and black handkerchief worn on her left side. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She wears her brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Cumpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the left. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Waywocket embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Waywocket and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears tattered old clothes. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Pog enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Pog began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Nella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
