History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cockaby alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
