History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Mary's homeland. Mary decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
