Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rael grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rael. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Umpen has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

A freak accident while working with her Miner father left her crippled. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Slave Trader. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
