History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
