History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: He dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a black coat with tan slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his top blue hat.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears long strands of sapphire and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her beige fur is singed and shortened. Her yellow eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a great chef.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
