History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Mormo was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mormo's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
