She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Orryn was born with his father's beautiful face. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After months of barely getting by, Orryn managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has never given up on her painting dream.
