History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Baern was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
