Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. His hair is silver and very short. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Courier business.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Courier kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears brown trousers with violet and tan striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. She has no hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Dagnal is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 2'10" and wears a red collared shirt and brown skirt. She accessorizes with a tan scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Fisher, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available she will default to her sword. She has silver crest. Her fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Havilar was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. During her travels, Havilar and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Havilar discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Havilar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
