History: Iados was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
