History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Chassath was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Chassath's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
