Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second son.

His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
