One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Merchant. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Enialis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She has achieved small success as a Painter.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
