Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older woman who tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are blue.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'6". He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cockaby fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by giants. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Server. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
