Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Adelaide hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
