She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has worked as a Spice Merchant like her mother before her.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. A true patriot, Jarana would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Beggar kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
