Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Trail will drive conversation. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Eldon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up work as a Dyer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
