History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Tiaathque hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: Lubash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.
