Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulblyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the south. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ulblyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is wearing a long, yellow, dusty cloak. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Knight but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. After coming to the age of reason, Fivin took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She has moderate length bronze crest. Her eyes are red and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Chassath does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sais and monstrous two handed axes. Her white fur is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Right-Handed was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Right-Handed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Right-Handed. After a long history of fighting, Right-Handed and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
