His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Gorbundus and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bather and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
