Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: A middle-aged woman, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, and is pretty ugly. Her blue hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her black eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Nemeia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: This man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 51. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Adran was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Breena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
