The war was a terrible time for her, and Bethrynna does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Aelar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the west. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well
