History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Myathethil grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Myathethil never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: She was born in the east. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to be a armorer again

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Dayereth is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
