History: Gunnloda was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Dyer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Butcher, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Faral was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
