History: Curran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Curran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the west to a Priest, Nija learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Nija's homeland. Nija decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now owns her own business.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Jak was born the youngest of three triplets. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
