Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gildmak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Olgoth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Olgoth and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is an amazing painter.

History: Sheggen was born the youngest of three triplets. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
