Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Kairon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kairon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kelter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: An older man who wears tattered old clothes, he is not a threatening figure. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Oren speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His yellow fur, when down, is lengthy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Right-Handed was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Right-Handed alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to prove his worth to the world
