Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Gubrash hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gubrash does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gubrash was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gubrash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
