History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He struck the Gardener job and began his own company from there.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her painting dream.
