History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Gynk was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
