History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Azzakh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Valanthe's homeland. Valanthe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality
