History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahlyssa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
