To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Numba. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Chay and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She got into the Shipwright business at a young age. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. She has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Personality: Sannl is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Sannl enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Sannl liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
