She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Akta hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Hobart was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Valanthe was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Gadreel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
